The user can start building custom segments by first creating a new Taxonomy. This can be accessed by clicking on the “+” symbol “Taxonomy” button in the upper left corner of the homepage and selecting “New Taxonomy”. After defining the name, . The user can then enter in the names of the taxonomy and segment, choose the language and market of , select the taxonomy , the user will be automatically redirected to the segment creation menu to start working on the first segment of the new taxonomylocation and choose whether to create the segment via Recommendation Engine or Keyword List upload. Once satisfied with the content of his or her segment, the user can save it.

From the folder view, the user can select an existing taxonomy to view the segment breakdown of the taxonomy in the dedicated column. By clicking on “Add Segment” in the middle of this columnthe “+” symbol next to “Segments” under the taxonomy name, the user can access the segment creation menu to add a segment directly to the selected taxonomy, which will be linked to it in the folder view once it has been saved. The taxonomy name, location, language and market cannot be changed at this stage.
