The Boolean search engine of AUDIENCE BUILDER enables to provide a set of matching items according to the selected criteria, using the operators OR, AND, or EXCLUDE.

It offers the possibility to choose the recency of the target audience and check the volume of Unique Users provided by each criteria or targeting parameter.

The Search function enables to quickly find a criteria or a targeting parameter in each data source

OR

The selected targeting parameters are combined by OR within the same Selection box. It means that the records found will correspond either to the first parameter either to one of the other parameters selected
The volume of each targeting parameter (Unique Users) is provided on the right of the selection box. The total volume is provided on the top of the selection box

Example:

The combination of targeting parameters “18-24” or “25-34” in the same selection box means that the internet users selected can be aged of 18 to 34 years (15,165,824 unique users)

AND

Several targeting parameters can be combined by AND in several Selection boxes

Example:

Combination of Age criteria in the selection box 1 and Gender criteria in the selection box 2. In that case, the internet users selected must be aged from 25 to 34 years AND also be female

EXCLUDE

Some targeting parameters can be explicitly excluded from the target audience. They are recorded into the Exclusion box

Example:

Recording of “Gambling” into the exclusion box in order to exclude the female internet users who are not interested in gambling.
