To recognize the importance of semantic AI in contextual advertising, it is necessary to understand what semantic AI consists of and how it can be used. The Semantic AI stack is built around machine learning and advanced NLP techniques. Through use of machine learning, statistics and linguistics, we are able to transform any kind of content into actionable segments. The computation of word embeddings (vectors calculated based on the semantic proximities between words) allows us to identify and classify words that are semantically related. Based on our wide corpus of analyzed URLs, our semantic algorithm is trained to determine the probability of words appearing together within a specific context.
