A taxonomy is a structure made of leaves and nodes meant to organize and sort raw data into actionable data. The structure is meant to follow a tree structure however it can be flat.

Each leaf and or node represent a group of user interest.

Taxonomies are managed on the following page: Onboarding > Taxonomy

The module is built around three parts:

  • taxonomy actions: button with all possible options overall on the module and the selected taxonomy (download / import taxonomy, create a new taxonomy as well as share a taxonomy)

  • taxonomies: list of all existing taxonomies with a search tool and some quick action buttons

  • hierarchy: graphical overview of the hierarchy of the taxonomy selected as well as details on the selected custom segment
