MoonFish is a tool that allows the user to seamlessly build a unique segment or a taxonomy, as they explore semantic universes and get recommendations of words that can be added to the segment.
These recommendations are fueled through an AI solution that proposes words based on their similarity in relation to the seedwords. Recommendations are optional but can aid the user in enriching his or her segment if desired.
There are two ways that users can begin to build custom segments.
New Taxonomy Creation
The user can start building custom segments by first creating a new Taxonomy. This can be accessed by clicking on the “+” symbol in the upper left corner of the homepage and selecting “New Taxonomy”. The user can then enter in the taxonomy details (name, location, language and market). Segment creation can begin by entering in the segment name and selecting whether the segment will be created via the Recommendation Engine or by Keyword List upload. Once all of this has been defined, the user will be automatically redirected to the segment creation menu to start working on the first segment of the new taxonomy. Once satisfied with the content of his or her segment, the user can save it.
The user will then be able to see the segment directly displayed in the folder view in the “Segments” column, appearing once a taxonomy is selected in the folder view. From here, it will be possible to rename, edit, or delete it as well as add a new segment to the user’s selected taxonomy.
Segment creation (Add a new segment to an existing taxonomy)
From the folder view, the user can select an existing taxonomy to view the segment breakdown of the taxonomy in the dedicated column. By clicking on “Add Segment” in the middle of this column, the user can access the segment creation menu to add a segment directly to the selected taxonomy, which will be linked to it in the folder view once it has been saved.
