Snapchat

Snapchat integration will be available in the Rewam 1.8 release. It comes with some specificity regarding setup:

1. A Weborama user account must be invited to the client's snapchat business manager

2. The Weborama user account must be granted access to the ad account

3. Weborama must accept the invitation

4. A WAM Partner configuration must be created

Requirements

The current integration works based on email data, thus it will only work for WAM account using the Wamfactory CRM feature.
It is required to for the WAM account to have:

• A namespace CRM

• CRM data in the namespace

• Emails in the CRM data

The emails must be compliant with snapchat requirements and thus hashed in sha256. Weborama only control the format is valid to a sha256 string standards and does not hash email strings.
 

Weborama access

The following Weborama account must be invited to the business manager as a member:

weborama-uploader@weborama.com

To invite the user, in the client's snapchat business manager:

1. Go to the member page

2. Select invite member

3. Fill the invitation form

Once the invitation has been created, the member must be granted access to the ad account id to be used for advertising.
In the member details page, go to the accounts membership section:

1. Select the ad account id to link to Weborama

2. Set the access to data manager to restrict the access the audience management

Note the orange text indicating the invitation has not been accepted yet by Weborama. When the invitation is accepted the notice will be removed.
This is not blocking to proceed with the setup next steps.

WAM setup

As usual a new partner must be set in the Onboarding>Partner page with the adequate information:

• partner name

• snapchat ad account id (not the business manager id)

• namespace (CRM data container)

• email key in the CRM data

Once the configuration is set, it will be possible to create data transfer for this configuration.

Snpachat continuous integration

We plan to increase the identifiers type supported by the Weborama - Snapchat integration. The following identifiers will be supported in the near future:

• MAID (mobile ad id)

• Phone number
