Hierarchy
The hierarchy is the structure of leaves and nodes contained in the taxonomy. In WAM the Onboarding>taxonomy module can display the hierarchy of a selected taxonomy.
To display the hierarchy of a taxonomy, select the taxonomy in the list on the left side. The hierarchy will be loaded and the first level displayed.
To display deeper levels in the hierarchy, simply click on the parent or the “>” button on the segment bubble.
One branch can be displayed at a time with each leaves unfolding in a new column to the right of the parent.
Create, edit, delete a segment
To create new custom segments on the taxonomy, select the “create segment” button:
or directly on the desired parent select the “create” option:
Fill in the form and click create:
It is possible to edit an existing custom segment by selecting the edit option in the hover menu. Choosing this option will open the same form as the creation form, however existing values will be visible in the inputs fields.
It is also possible to delete a segment by selecting the delete option in the hover menu. Note, the deletion is not effective until the taxonomy is saved as described further below.
By default deleting a custom segment with leaves, will delete all the leaves. It is possible to “restore” leaves individually by selecting “undelete”.
Once the segment is created, edited or deleted it still needs to be saved by clicking on the save button. if the changes are not satisfying, a click on the “cancel” button will remove all unsaved changes.
